Professional Development Schedule for the Spring Semester 2009-2010
(Updated December 15, 2009)
All in-services start at 3:30 and end at 5:00.  Each site needs to email Mr. Wagner at jwagner(at)avr2.org at least a week in advance to be scheduled for the session.  This is critical since the scheduling is through MOREnet and sites cannot be added after the due date.  Handouts are available for most sessions on the MAIN link from the Arcadia Valley homepage www.avr2.org

This session will help improve your SMART Notebook lessons. It will include using items from the Gallery and Lesson Activity Toolkit to enhance your SMART Notebook lessons. During the session, we will also review online resources for engaging activities.

Schools are reminded that they must contact Jim Wagner, jwagner(at)avr2.org, at least one week in advance to schedule attendance at any workshops.  We must make contact with MOREnet to set these sessions up and they do not usually allow changes.  Please work with your PDC committees and schedule as soon as possible if you are interested in hosting any of the sessions at your school.  Some of the sessions will have a second session and they must be scheduled with Mr. Wagner if you plan to attend the second session.
