EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Arcadia Valley is three communities made up of Ironton, Arcadia, and Pilot Knob and has approximately 4000 residents. We are located in the eastern part of the state, about 80 miles south of St. Louis near a very beautiful Ozark Scenic River ways area that has a rich artistic and historical heritage. It is also a summer tourist area due to its proximity to Johnson Shut-ins and Elephant Rocks State Parks, Clearwater Lake, and the Pilot Knob Civil War State Historical site

The Arcadia Valley R-II Schools have a long tradition of providing a quality education to the students of the district. Over time, we have developed and implemented many programs to meet the needs of our students. Today’s accountability efforts are directed toward the schools’ role in improving achievement and providing a quality education for the children of the twenty-first century. Public satisfaction and support is absolutely essential for schools to have a positive effect. The Board of Education and Administration of the Arcadia Valley School District feel that it is very important that members of our community be familiar with all facets of the schools that belong to “all” of us. It is our goal that everyone takes the opportunity to understand the successes as well as the needs and goals of the school so that we may work together to continue to provide the best education possible to the children of our community.

The district has an enrollment of approximately 1000 students in the school system K-12. We employ 150 staff members, which provide a broad educational program, and are able to incorporate a personalized approach to students, families, and staff. The campus also includes a Vocational school that serves eight sending schools.
