Congratulations to AV Post Secondary Counselor, Nicole Thomas, who received the Innovation Award at the Missouri RootEd Conference this week!
Mrs Thomas has worked tirelessly to come up with innovative ideas to engage students in planning for their next step following high school.
Mrs Thomas works with all AVHS Seniors to develop a career plan for after high school, whether it's going to college, beginning a technical skill training program, entering the workforce, or joining the military.
At AVHS we were thrilled to have the #rootEdMissouri program available for our students this past year and excited to continue this program for years to come!
